Delete your account

You can delete your AFF account at any time, right in the app. Here's how, and what happens to your data.

In the app

It takes less than a minute.

  1. Open the Me tabTap the person icon in the bottom right of the app.
  2. Tap Delete accountYou'll find it under Account.
  3. ConfirmReview the message and tap Delete. You may be asked to sign in with Apple again to confirm it's you.

What happens next

Your profile disappears from the live list and from Nearby right away. Within 30 days we delete your profile information, photos, profile video, conversations, messages, likes, passes, blocks and device tokens.

We keep a small amount of information for longer where we need to, such as purchase records required by tax law, and reports and enforcement records that help keep banned members from returning. Our Privacy Policy lists how long each type of record is kept.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel AFF Premium. To stop future charges, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AFF → Cancel Subscription.

Can't use the app?

Email turboduck@foxmail.com from the email address linked to your AFF account, and include the account ID shown in the app if you have it. We'll verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.

You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for AFF: on your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → AFF → Stop Using Apple ID.
