1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use AFF Dating. We aim for the website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we keep improving the app's accessibility with every release.
2. On this website
- Semantic HTML with landmarks and headings, so screen readers can move around each page.
- Full keyboard support, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text and interface colors chosen for sufficient contrast.
- Interactive app demos that can be paused, and that stop animating when your device's “Reduce motion” setting is on.
- The swipe demo also works with buttons and the arrow keys, not only by dragging.
3. In the app
- Standard iOS controls that work with VoiceOver, with spoken labels on key actions such as Back and More options. We are adding labels wherever they are still missing.
- Animations that respect the iOS Reduce Motion setting.
- A high-contrast black-and-white design.
4. Known limitations
The app demos on our website are simplified illustrations of the app. They are for demonstration only, and the same information is always available in the text around them.
5. Feedback
If you run into an accessibility barrier on the website or in the app, please tell us at turboduck@foxmail.com. Let us know the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device and assistive technology you use. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
