Why we have guidelines

AFF Dating is for adults who want to meet real people nearby. These guidelines explain what we expect from everyone on AFF. They apply to everything you share: your profile, photos, profile video, greetings and messages, and to how you treat people when you meet. They are part of our Terms of Service.

Be real

• Your profile video must show you, recorded live in the app. No screen recordings, no edited or AI-generated video, no one else.
• Your photos must show you. No celebrities, stock photos, cartoons in place of your face, or photos of anyone else.
• Your age must be accurate, and you must be 18 or older.
• Don't impersonate anyone, and don't claim a job, name or connection you don't have in order to mislead.
• One person, one account.

Be respectful

• No harassment, bullying, stalking, threats or intimidation.
• No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
• Take “no” for an answer. If someone doesn't reply or asks you to stop, move on.
• Don't share someone's personal information, photos or private messages without their consent.

Keep it appropriate

• No nudity or sexually explicit content in your profile, photos or profile video.
• No unsolicited sexual messages or images.
• No violent, graphic or shocking content, and nothing that promotes self-harm.
• Zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes minors. See our Child Safety Standards.

No scams, spam or solicitation

• Never ask other members for money, gifts, gift cards, loans, investments or cryptocurrency.
• No advertising, promotion or selling of any kind, including escort or sex work.
• Don't use AFF to collect followers or send people to other apps or websites for commercial reasons.
• No bots, automation, fake engagement or spam.

Stay within the law

• No illegal activity, including selling drugs or weapons, human trafficking or fraud.
• Only share content that you own or have permission to use. See our Copyright & IP Policy.

Meeting in person

Meeting someone new should be fun and safe. Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you'll be, arrange your own transport, and trust your instincts. Consent is required for any physical contact, and it can be withdrawn at any time. Read our safety tips.

Reporting

If someone breaks these guidelines, tap ⋯ on their profile or on their row in the list, then choose Report this user. You can also block them. Blocking takes effect right away. Our team reviews every report, and the person you report isn't told who reported them. You can also email turboduck@foxmail.com. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services first.

Please report honestly. Knowingly making false reports is itself a violation of these guidelines.

What happens when someone breaks the rules

Depending on how serious the violation is and whether it has happened before, we may:

• remove the content or ask the member to change it;
• hide the profile until a new profile video is recorded and reviewed;
• issue a warning;
• suspend the account temporarily; or
• ban the account permanently and, where appropriate, refer the matter to law enforcement.

Serious violations, such as threats of violence, any exploitation of minors, or scams, lead to a permanent ban.

Appeals

If you believe we made a mistake, email turboduck@foxmail.com with the account ID shown in the app and a short explanation. A different member of our team will review your appeal.
